Home Education
Montessori education at home, with a pathway you can trust.
Home Education gives families something traditional schooling often cannot: the freedom to shape learning around their child, their family and their life.
But freedom does not have to mean figuring everything out alone.
We created our Montessori Home Education programmes for parents who believe in giving their child an authentic Montessori education, but want the reassurance of experienced Montessori educators alongside them. Helping them understand what their child needs, what to present next, how to support their development and how to keep the learning journey purposeful.
Our role is not to take over your child's education.
You remain the guide. We provide the pathway.
We provide the Montessori curriculum guidance, lessons, resources, teacher support, assessment and community that give your family a clear direction, while you remain at the heart of your child's everyday learning.
It is a different way of thinking about education: professional guidance without giving up the freedom of Home Education.
Home Education for Ages 6–12
A complete Montessori learning pathway for the Elementary years.
The 6–12 programme is designed for families who want to educate their child at home while having an experienced Montessori team providing the academic structure and guidance behind the scenes.
At this age, children are becoming increasingly independent learners. Our programme is designed to support that independence while giving parents a clear understanding of what their child is learning and how to continue supporting them at home.
Your child receives:
A personalised Montessori learning pathway
We begin by understanding your child's current academic level and developmental stage, allowing us to guide their learning from an appropriate starting point rather than simply following a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Regular Montessori lessons and learning guidance
Children are guided through key Elementary areas including Mathematics, Language Arts, Grammar, Science, Geography, History, Biology and Zoology, with lessons and activities designed to build understanding rather than simply complete assignments.
Two live Montessori Hub sessions each week
The Hub brings children together for live collaborative learning, discussion, cultural studies, Great Lessons, exploration and projects. It gives children the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, collaborate and experience the social dimension of Montessori learning.
Assessment and progress guidance
We use an initial assessment to understand where your child is starting from and provide ongoing guidance throughout the year. At the end of the programme, families receive an assessment and written report documenting their child's progress.
Guidance with Montessori materials
We help families understand which Montessori materials are useful for their child's stage of development, while also providing printable or virtual alternatives where appropriate.
The result?
A Home Education experience that has direction without rigidity.
Your child can learn at home, develop independence and follow their interests, while you have a knowledgeable Montessori team helping you understand the bigger picture.
You provide the relationship.
We provide the pathway.
Home Education for Ages 4–6
A gentler beginning, with more guidance for the parent.
The first years of learning at home are different.
Children aged 4–6 are still developing the concentration, independence and practical skills that will allow them to take greater ownership of their learning later on. For this reason, our younger Home Education programme places a much stronger emphasis on supporting the parent as well as the child.
Launching January 2027, this programme is being designed to give families practical Montessori guidance they can actually use in their home.
Rather than simply giving you activities to complete, we help you understand how Montessori learning works, how to prepare your environment and how to follow your child's development.
Families will receive:
Parent coaching and Montessori guidance
We help parents understand how to observe their child, when to step in, when to step back and how to support growing independence.
A clear learning pathway
You won't be left wondering what your child should be learning next. The programme provides age-appropriate direction while allowing you to adapt the rhythm of learning to your family.
Hands-on Montessori learning
At this age, learning needs to be active and tangible. We focus on practical, hands-on experiences that allow children to explore concepts rather than simply learning through a screen.
Video lesson demonstrations
Parents can see how Montessori lessons are presented and gain a clearer understanding of the approach before working with their child at home.
Printable Montessori resources
We provide resources that can be used within the home environment, helping families create meaningful learning experiences without needing to recreate an entire Montessori classroom.
Weekly guidance and planning support
Parents have a clear sense of what to focus on while retaining the flexibility to follow their child's interests, pace and needs.
Support preparing the home environment
We guide parents in creating a simple, purposeful environment that encourages concentration, independence and meaningful work.
The goal isn't to recreate school at home.
It is to help you create a home where Montessori principles become part of everyday life — where your child can explore, practise, question, discover and gradually become more independent.
Coming January 2027.

In a virtual school like Montessori Virtual School, your child follows a structured program led by experienced Montessori educators. They attend live, interactive classes, receive individual lessons and feedback, and become part of a learning community — all from home or wherever your family may be.
Homeschooling is different in that parents take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and delivering their child’s education. Families choose their own curriculum, set their own schedule, and guide the learning themselves.
